1) A Pandemic of Misinformation by Joan Donovan which took place on February 10, 2021
Joan Donovan is the Research Director of the Shorenstein on Media, Politics and Public Policy, Harvard University. She is an internationally recognized expert on media manipulation, disinformation, and online extremism. In this free public talk, she will explore the role of disinformation in the Covid-19 crisis. This talk is part of the ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Conflict Research Centre Series on "Covid-19 and Conflict", co-sponsored with the School of Social Communications.

2)COVID-19 et personnes âgées : la faillite de l'État au Québec et ailleurs (FRENCH) by Julien Simard which took place on February 25th, 2021
Dr. Julien Simard has a master's degree in anthropology from the University of Montreal and a doctorate in urban studies from INRS-UCS. At the master's level, he carried out an ethnography in a Quebec palliative care home. Her doctoral thesis looked at the issues experienced by elderly tenants in Montreal. Postdoctoral researcher at the School of Social Work of McGill University, Julien Simard is also a professor in the gerontology certificate of the Faculty of Permanent Education of the University of Montreal. This talk is part of the ×îÐÂÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Conflict Research Centre Series on "Covid-19 and Conflict", co-sponsored with the Center on Aging and the Community.
